A half day refresher that is strongly recommended by the HSE for individuals who currently hold a First Aid in the workplace qualification in order to keep skills and sequences fresh. Suitable for: Anybody that holds an in date (within the last three years) workplace first aid certificate.
 

QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
One day course covering the First Aid regulations in the workplace and providing candidates with valuable life-saving skills Suitable for: Individuals and Lone Workers Low-Risk Businesses Small Businesses Great discounts for group bookings. Certification is valid for 3 years.
 
QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) Initial
This three-day course provides candidates with knowledge about first aid at work regulations who have a need for greater understanding and require more in-depth knowledge on illness assessment as well as accident assessment. Suitable for: Individuals and shared site workers Higher risk businesses Large Businesses.
 
QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QAR) Requalifying
In order to remain current, a first aider must attend a first aid at work refresher course before the 3 year certification period has elapsed. This can take place three months prior to certificate expiry date. Candidates may also take the course up to 28 days after the expiry date, but during that period they must not carry out duties of a first aider. In both cases, the new certificate will start from the expiry date of the old one. Suitable for: Businesses and individuals that wish to extend their valid First Aid at Work certification for another three years.

 
QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
A two-day course detailing how to provide first aid and care to children and babies. Certification meets the criteria set out by Ofsted and EYFS. Suitable for: Parents Nursery Staff Childminders Nannies Any Child Care Professional.

First Aid For Schools
A half day course designed to provide teachers and school staff basic first aid to help a colleague or student in an emergency. Meets the criteria set out by HSE, Ofsted and EYFS. Perfect for an Inset day Suitable for: Teachers School Staff After school staff.

 
QA Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (QCF)
A half day course designed to offer the chance to gain experience of using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Possibly the biggest step you can make in saving a life.

Level 2 Award in CitizenAID (RQF)

Would you know how to react in the event of a terrorist attack? Whenever there is a shooting, stabbing or bomb explosion, the initial priority is understandably to ensure public safety, which can unfortunately cause delays to the emergency services being able to reach the injured. The QA Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) has been specifically developed to help members of the public learn life-saving skills for use in these extreme situations. Based on the citizenAID phone App and pocket guide, this regulated qualification is designed to teach people how to react safely, prioritise the injured and give first aid to victims in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident.  During this 3 hour course, candidates will have the opportunity to practise techniques for dealing with catastrophic bleeding and will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to save lives in the aftermath of a terrorist attack.
